I began my career
originating mortgage loans in 1976 and was a producing branch
manager for 14 years. Between my personal production and the
loan officers I have supervised, I have been responsible for
over a billion dollars of FHA, VA and Conventional loans.
I have trained many loan officers, processors and underwriters
through the years.
I primarily work from referrals by Realtors, attorneys and
previous customers; I continue to do first time homebuyers,
as well as move up buyers. I believe in relationship selling
and keeping the customer relationships alive and active. Without
the relationships I have nurtured, I would not have been as
successful as I have.
In 1994, I was the President of The Columbus Mortgage Bankers
Association. I had been a member and Chairman of that organization's
FHA/VA Committee from 1982 to 1995. I am currently the Chairman
of the Education/Residential Lending Committee. I have served
on many Ohio Mortgage Bankers committees as well as Columbus
Board of Realtors committees.
I have been an FHA credit analyst since the early 80's, and
am currently an FHA/VA approved underwriter. In the middle
80's, I served as an FHA credit reviewer for several years.
