I
have been in the mortgage business since 1977 learning all
aspects of the business in various positions. The first eight
years "in the business" include several years as
an award winning loan officer, branch manager, and corporate
sales manager.
From
there I spent five years at a $1.5 Billion Savings & Loan
as the Senior Vice President – Chief Lending Officer,
where I managed a $1 Billion servicing portfolio, a mortgage
banking division with retail loan origination offices throughout
Ohio and a wholesale division that purchased loans nationally.
I
left there to become co-founder and partner of a regional
mortgage company where I was responsible for increasing sales
from $80 million to $325 million within 4 years by recruiting
top sales and support staff in 12 new branches in 4 states.
My responsibilities involved new products, investor relationships,
branch activity and acting Senior Underwriter responsible
for directing underwriters.

in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky
• EVP of a non-bank bank
• Negotiated the sale of an $800 Million loan portfolio

of a $1.5 Billion S&L
• Set rates for savings & loan portfolio products

•Chaired the task force that set the parameters for
Ohio Housing Finance Agency 1st-time homebuyer bonds

Affordable Housing initiatives for the Federal Reserve,
Federal Home Loan Bank/Office of Thrift Supervision, HUD-Washington,
FNMA, FHLMC, and various state and local MBAs
